I was thinking -
What kind of trouble would it be to find some flexible body filler to fill these gaps, smooth the seams out, and then repaint to match?
The bumper isn’t a big deal but the A-pillar to fender gap seems out of place to me.

Any auto parts store should sell bondo and associated tools.
Filling the seam would require removing the fender and adding some material that will sandwich between the fender and the body. this keeps the bondo isolated to the area your trying to fill, not dripping down the inner fender. Than lots and lots and lots of sanding and filling and sanding.
Shouldnt be difficult, just time consuming.
IDK how difficult the paint would be

Yeah, no, that’s not what filler is for, even flexible.

To do it right(and prevent cracking) you’d need to weld the fender to the pillar before you bondoed it. And when painting you’d have to clearcoat the fender, roof rail and quarter panel due to a lack of placed to tape off for the clear.

The bondo police will instantly arrest you for mucking up a vehicle...even if it’s yours.

Is that a carbon fiber monocoque? If not, don’t bother.

The right way is to weld the seam and then do bodywork. You’ll end up painting a lot of the car if you want it to blend right. Regardless, I think it’s a bad idea. You will absolutely hate your life if you have to remove/adjust the fender later on, and I just don’t see if making that much of a difference to the aesthetics of the car.

The only scenario in which it would make sense would be if the front fenders were permanently attached. The only line of car that I can think of off the top of my head with permanently attached front fenders doesn’t have an a-pillar at all, so I’m not sure if it’s ever really been done from the factory. It’s been done on customs, of course:

Our Renegade had a massive panel gap in between the bonnet and the grille and it took a few back and forths with our dealership to get them to sort it out!
